Everyone has the right to work, and a free choice of employment. We provide assistant to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in developing a customized work plan, obtaining, and maintaining a job in the community. The services support IDD individuals to locate paid employment in the community, based on their individual work plan, and skills for a job of their choice.
We will provide the ultimate support needed to assist IDD individuals to identify their job skills, based on their individualized determination of their strengths, needs, and interests as well as providing them with the support they need to acquire all the necessary resources designed to meet their specific abilities, and the business needs of the employer.
Enabling supports include
- adequately trained and/or experienced personnel who help people with disabilities shape the overall direction and daily activities of their own lives in positive ways, as well as access to the resources.
- Resume development based on their strengths, needs, and interests.
- Providing job coaches including training on mock interviews.
- Transportations to and from work.
